Vanguard VEO Metro 25-Liter Camera and Everyday Backpack - Magenta

The Vanguard VEO Metro Series is a collection of camera bags designed with equal parts utility and looks in mind. With a selection of backpacks and shoulder bags, this series goes beyond photography and is a trusted companion for a day trip or a daily commute.

The VEO Metro B25L is a lightweight 25-liter backpack that is hand luggage-compatible based on IATA guidelines. This fashion-forward camera backpack offers a lower compartment, a removable upper daypack section, a laptop compartment for up to a 16" laptop, and expandable side pockets for a travel-style tripod.

The camera compartment allows you to carry a full-frame camera with up to 4 lenses (up to 70-200mm f2.8), separated by slimline EVA dividers that are designed to maximize the space available while protecting your gear. You can adjust these dividers to your preferred layout or remove them to create an everyday backpack. Enjoy full access to the camera compartment through the back, with quick top access to your camera -- so you can be ready to shoot in seconds.

The upper daypack compartment allows you to carry everyday items or additional camera gear -- including a space for a power bank with slots to insert a cable connected to the device in your hand for power on the go. You can access the compartment through the top of the bag, but it is also designed for fast access from the rear. Additionally, you can remove this daypack compartment and set up the backpack for top access to your camera.

The laptop compartment is built into the rear panel and accommodates up to a 16” laptop -- and it is well-padded to keep both your laptop and camera gear safe. The rear panel has additional storage pockets for up to a 13” laptop and other accessories, such as cables.

The Vanguard VEO Metro backpack includes multiple storage pockets: expandable side pockets for a water bottle or a tripod; sealed pockets on the inside of the top flap for SD cards and accessories; sealed pockets on the outside of the top flap and on the front of the backpack, which you can use to stash other items; an expandable pocket for a smartphone on the right-hand shoulder strap; and a camera connector strap on the left shoulder strap (camera clip not included). It also includes straps that connect to the front of the bag to carry additional items, such as a jacket. There is also a hidden rear pocket underneath the trolley attachment strap on the rear of the bag for a passport, cash, and other important documents, with a separate hidden smart tracker pocket, so you can easily locate your bag if it is misplaced.

This bag has a tough, well-padded body to protect your gear as you go, but it is also designed to deliver years of use -- constructed with lightweight-yet-tough 300D polyester. The fabric is designed for heavy-duty applications with excellent water resistance and UV protection, enabling it to retain its color and structural integrity over the years. All this is enhanced by a durable water-repellent coating on both sides of the fabric and highly water-resistant SBS zippers, ensuring your gear stays protected -- with a rain cover available for the wettest days.

Lastly, when we designed the VEO Metro series, we were sure to include one more all-important feature: maximum comfort. Weighing just over 4 lbs., the lightweight backpack can stay on your back through prolonged sessions and travel without the added strain that comes with many heavier-duty backpacks. The wide, padded shoulder straps with an adjustable chest strap help prevent slipping and keep everything ergonomically upright. It also includes a padded waist strap that you can tuck away into the bag when it’s not needed. Additionally, a high-resilience foam padded back contours to your body, and an integrated airflow system keeps it cool as you travel.
